KADEN
The Main Hero
Kaden has a strong, determined will, together with perseverance. His level of endurance and courage against adversity is second to none. Although he is passive at first, he has an unbroken spirit waiting to be discovered. He is not perfect, and while struggling with bouts of selfish and vengeful behavior, he learns that he must share responsibilities with his loved ones. Nonetheless, he has a strong innate sense of good and doing what is right.
PETEY & BUG
Valiant Sidekick
Petey exhibits zany, kind-hearted behavior. Petey will commonly crack jokes when he is nervous or afraid. He can be cowardly at times but is known to be brave when his back is against the wall or protecting loved ones. He is very energetic and often talks too much, annoying people. On the other hand, Bug is a frockling mushroom that is a nuisance to Petey. The gentle, rare creature hops around while shooting phosphorescent spores in the air, often on Petey’s face.
Ada
Hero’s Friend
A lot can be assumed when you first look at Ada, but those close to her know she’s a strong and capable hunter. Of course, she’s also caring, compassionate, and loving towards others, but many can perceive her as being hardened on the outside. Her protectiveness for those she loves, at all costs, can cause her to exhibit stubborn, rebellious behavior. Inside down to her core, Ada is kind and has years to join someone on an adventure outside her average life.
Bardicus
King of the Dwarves
Bardicus is brave and strong, yet arrogant. After the Great War, he spends time sitting on his throne drinking grog and having grand celebrations full of food. The countless parties could be due to shame from betraying the late King Karatheas. Maybe he will have an opportunity for his tribe to be redeemed. Lives underground in a rare material mine known for its famous grog.
Pepper
Queen of the Forest
Pepper is the gentle wife of her late husband, the powerful Faedner Shinyfawn. For most of her life now, she and her kingdom have strayed from anything that is not peaceful, especially war. Even though Pepper is friendly, she is a powerful fairy capable of defeating many creatures in combat. Using the forces of nature through the blessing of Orealus, she can assist her allies in a time of need.
Chum
The Clever One
Chum is rumored to be the last of his kind. He wanders almost daily to Kugdor to steal grog. He is often caught and thrown out. He was known as a great informant, gatherer of
information, or procuring items for something in return. Often the things he steals are to trade for more grog.

Eldrin
Elven Prince
Eldrin is the prideful prince of the elven king Valymr. As regal as his background, he has a good heart underneath his narcissistic behavior in regards to his handsome looks and advanced skill with a bow. He is adept at hand-to-hand combat and the use of daggers. He went through elite training as a longbow sniper before receiving his trusted bow, Driftwood.
Cimetes
Honorable Chief
Cimetes is a strong warrior and leader of the centaur tribe. After the Great War, he placed his focus solely on his tribe. He wields a mighty spear named Wind Piercer that his father passed down to him. Although brave, he now secretly fears Lucient and his army after the war.
Duke
Furry Friend
Duke follows Kaden off on his quest as his loyal companion. Duke was found as a puppy by Kaden near Ashland, and they have been inseparable since.
Varun
Protector of the Sea
Varun is the merfolk king alongside his wife, Dinereus. Varun became king shortly after his father, the great King Trophorus, was assassinated by one of his brothers Agalus, the traitor. Many merfolk warriors defected to Lucient’s army out of fear of Agalus. They waged a terrible war against the sea kingdom during the Great War. Varun was defeated along with many of his siblings, and Varun was broken. Many lives of the united sea kingdom of warriors and civilians were lost.
Bhalla
The Bright/Protector of the Light
Bhalla is the eldest of all wizards and a blameless servant to Orealus. He oversaw the Tower of Enlightenment and now
lives in Lumhagen. Many of his followers and fellow wizards do not understand his deep devotion or trust in Orealus after the Great War. However, they still follow him as he is deeply revered in the city. Bhalla is a powerful wizard capable of healing, raising the dead, causing storms, and protecting others through shields and other magical feats. Bhalla is a wise spiritual person who relies on all his knowledge from Orealus. He often calls on his closest friend, a giant eagle named Ga’noole, when needing help.
